My Story

Before entering the realm of integrative wellness, Ila was an active musician, performing in a wide range of contexts, from orchestral settings to experimental soundscapes. For Ila, art and deep soul work are intrinsically linked, each informing and enriching the other.  Intuitive, process-based art-making is crucial to her ongoing integration of depth work, providing a vital means of exploration and expression.

Ila’s journey with Family Constellations began in 2022 after attending a weekend intensive with facilitator Pia Storm Kalhoff that led to profound personal shifts. Inspired by the depth of this experience, she pursued facilitator training, completing a 12-module program with Marina Toledo of the Hellinger Institute in 2024. She continues to engage in further training and actively participates in constellation events to deepen her practice and refine her approach.

In addition to her Family Constellations work, Ila runs a private integrative psychotherapy practice. As a licensed therapist, she brings a trauma-informed perspective and a strong ethical foundation to her work with individuals and groups. Her extensive training across multiple therapeutic modalities allows her to create a deeply attuned, holistic, and supportive space for those seeking healing and transformation.

Please note that Ila's private psychotherapy practice operates independently of Soul Hug Family Constellations and is only available to Saskatchewan residents.
